Praxxis team members are back from a busy week in Seoul, Tokyo and Osaka, and we want to share the excitement and highlights from our travel.
We started off last week with Korea Blockchain Week at the D.FINE conference. David gave a keynote speech introducing Praxxis to East Asia. He also participated in one of the most-anticipated panels of the conference, sharing the stage with Nick Szabo and Adam Back, discussing the history of cryptography and what the future holds.
There were also many great meetups, interviews and meetings while we were in Seoul. Our partner put together a great panel including Algorand, Hedera Hashgraph and Solana. David was interviewed by several local media outlets. We also filmed a live recording of CryptoTrader at Decentre Blockchain Caffe.
After a great few days in Seoul, the team was off to Tokyo. David spoke at a meetup with our friends from The Block, presented at Node Tokyo, and even found some time for ramen. These events were packed and there was a great community atmosphere throughout our brief stop in Tokyo.
Then the real fun began…After riding the Shinkansen bullet train to Osaka, with sushi to go, we were ready for DevCon5.
Before the official event began, we were lucky to participate in a few great events. David presented at Building the New Web and shared insights from his history and how he got involved in today’s blockchain community. Our friends at Spartan Group put together a great meetup with Blockstack and Orchid discussing data privacy and security. The team at Ukiyo Conference put together a great day’s worth of content. We also participated in the Off DevCon pub crawl, the streets and people of Osaka are still recovering.
There was a great energy as we walked into DevCon 5. We saw plenty of familiar faces and enjoyed catching up with friends, while collecting plenty of good swag.
The highlight of our journey was David’s mainstage talk at DevCon5. It was the perfect way to end a very exciting trip.
Reflecting on our travel, we are energized by the passion and excitement of the Asian blockchain ecosystem, and you really have to visit in person to appreciate all the great work that’s happening. We believe strongly in the power of community to make our shared mission, and the Praxxis blockchain successful. This trip was a great opportunity to meet so many fans, supporters, and partners. A huge thank you to all who helped make our trip a tremendous success!
The blockchain community is truly a global movement, and we will continue to travel the world meeting those who share our passion for building a decentralized future. Make sure to download the xx collective smartphone app to keep up to date on when and where you can connect with the Praxxis team.
